This book documents my year long senior thesis project. This book consists of three parts, each representing the work I’ve accomplished during a quarter. Part I was just completed for as the first quarter at Cal Poly SLO is wrapping up. Look forward to seeing a finished version that you can purchase online. Here are just a few sample pages Ive included for your viewing pleasure.
I won an Honorable Mention on my custom designed and fabricated display table titled Snellicious.
I along with ten others are having our pieces exhibited in Santa Barbara in a Design Within Reach showroom in January on State Street. Check out Cal Poly’s website to read more about the competition. You can contact me if you have any interest in obtaining a custom piece.

This project is a urban renewal project that is sited along the Arno river in Florence, Italy and is intended to link the river with the community. Since 1966 when the great flood occurred, there has been a lack of focus on the prime landscape of the river. For my design I wanted to reconnect the community to the beautiful river and take the congested city center outwards to the river. I created a piazza that would begin the master plan to extend nodes of gathering all along the river. Based off of this piazza ,there would be a river walk along the river for running, biking, and walking that would be on multiple levels that would connect to one another. I also offered a master plan to develop a series of shops, bars, discos, and a soccer field on the top of the structure. By placing these spaces on various levels, the walking paths extend indoors and outdoors and allow a constant view of the Arno river.
This project consists of a multi-use space that consists of an Architecture studio and a duplex apartment. I based my design off the concept of the social growth of each element in the design. A profile shape or form would be developed off of the program inside. This growth profile form would be derived from an outward or inward growth of the spaces within, whether it was a public or private space. The spaces inside would further develop this idea with a variety of spacial qualities that would later on be extended out to the facade of the building and give the outside facade the character from within.
With the realization of technological advances in robotics, humans are now being introduced to a new responsive architectural interface that connects us to the rest of the world. The architecture becomes interactive with the world around it through various input from the user and the environment. Wire mesh panels integrated with light emitting diodes that can connect a user, environmental concerns, and other locations together into one large digital world. This project is based in the city of San Francisco, Ca where a new headquarters for the Center for the Creation of Asimo are to be built where the robots can be produced and a place for the public to learn about the history of robotics.
